- Sorry for the lack of an update last week! I was hella sick and just couldn't get it done on time.

Also, we're currently stuck in Old Page Limbo. My hiatus during last semester means that I'm now stuck finishing up buffer pages that are months old. Comics are rough right now, so thanks for bearing with me while I finish up these old pages!

If you're able to make an edit to the page, I'd suggest keeping all of panel 4's word balloons on the left side. It looks like our hero is saying a line intended for his sister -- actually confused me for a bit, and, though I hate to say it, it looks a little amateurish.

Really glad you've picked this comic up again! The hiatus had me worried.

@mikemacdee: Yeah, I think you're right, there.

I try not to edit pages once they've been posted, in order to avoid getting stuck in a loop of perpetually editing old pages, but I may take your advice for clarity's sake. At the very least, I'll keep it in mind for the future!

@SlimmerCat: Yeah, true dat. I think I was notorious for that with my first webcomic. Even thought about redoing all the art from scratch, which I probably woulda thought about again halfway through the retouch.

I notice it's hardest to finish pages after a break, especially if you're like me and trying not to get sucked into the loop of re-drawing the same intro for months because it actually happened before. You obviously know how it works best for you but in my case I usually make pages and update one page at a time so if I can't get back to the comic in a while I don't have a bunch of half-finished pages I have to finish. But yeah, comics can be rough...

...but not as rough as Duane's family, I want to know more about them all!
